Was bewirken Antioxidantien?<\/h6>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-60daef4 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"60daef4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Freie Radikale sind Molek\u00fcle, denen ein Elektron fehlt, dass sie durch eine Oxidation wieder zu gewinnen suchen. Dies ist eine sehr schnelle Reaktion. Solche Molek\u00fcle interagieren also stark und sofort mit allen m\u00f6glichen chemischen Verbindungen um sie herum. Nach der Reaktion fehlt dem entsprechenden umliegenden Molek\u00fcl seinerseits wieder ein Elektron und so entsteht die n\u00e4chste Oxidations-Reaktion. Freie Radikale l\u00f6sen also eine Kettenreaktion von Oxidationen aus. Aus diesem Grund k\u00f6nnen diese im menschlichen K\u00f6rper massive Sch\u00e4den anrichten. Sie sch\u00e4digen die Zellmembrane, deaktivieren Enzyme, zerst\u00f6ren Teile der DNA oder auch Rezeptoren an der Zelloberfl\u00e4che. Man spricht von oxidativem Stress im K\u00f6rper.<\/p><p>Antioxidantien sind Molek\u00fcle, welche freiwillig ein Elektron abgeben, ohne dass sie selbst wieder zu einem Radikal werden. Wenn solche also mit den freien Radikalen reagieren, stoppen sie die Kettenreaktion. Einige Antioxidantien k\u00f6nnen sogar wieder in den Ursprungszustand versetzt werden und erneut ein Elektron abgeben.
